101th session of the International Labour Conference

The International Labour Conference (ILC), senior executive Forum of the International Labour Organization (ILO) holds its 101th session from 30 May through 14 June 2012 in Geneva.

One of the main tasks of the 101th ILC is to consider the adoption of a new autonomous international labour Recommendation social protection floors, elaborated during the previous ILC in 2011.

The ILC technical committees will also focus on the status of ILO and Budget, on possible solutions for the current youth employment crisis, as well as on the implementation by Member States of the ILO conventions and recommendations, etc.

Ukraine is represented at this event by the national tripartite delegation, which includes representatives of the Government, employers' and workers’ organizations.

During the 101th ILC the delegation of Ukraine will meet with the ILO high officials and will participate in the signing ceremony of a new Decent Work Country Programme for Ukraine for the period 2012-2015.
