On October 15-18, 2019, the 22nd session of the Group of Experts on European Agreement Concerning Work of Crews of Vehicles Engaged in International Road Transport (AETR) and the 114th session of the Working party on Road Transport of the Inland Transport Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) are taking place in Geneva.
Under the chairmanship of the representative of Ukraine, the participants of the Group of Experts on AETR have considered the application of the Agreement, relevant EC Regulations in the AETR area, as well as have exchanged information on usage of digital tachographs.
At the session of the Working party on Road Transport, status of various agreements and conventions in the area of transport, including AETR, the Global Multilateral Agreement on the International Regular Transport of Passengers by Coach and Bus (OmniBUS), the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) has been discussed, as well as proposals concerning amendments to them.
The representatives of the State Enterprise “State Road Transport Research Institute” as well as the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the sessions of the working groups.
