On October 15-18, 2019, the 153rd session of the Working Party on Customs Questions affecting Transport of the Inland Transport Committee of the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing the current status of various international legal instruments in the area of transport and international trade, including the Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR Carnets (TIR Convention, 1975), the International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods of 1982 and the Customs Conventions on the Temporary Importation of Private Road Vehicles (1954) and Commercial Road Vehicles (1956), as well as proposals concerning amendments to them.

The experts of the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine and the members of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 153rd session of the Working Party.
