On February 23-26, 2016 the 78^th session of the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

In the framework of the session the High-level segment on the theme ''Innovations for Sustainable Inland Transport with Special Attention to Information and Communication Technologies'' is conducted. Participants of the meeting are discussing the draft ITC Resolution on Unified Railway Law in the UNECE region and will elect the new composition of the Committee’s Bureau for 2016-2017.

Also, delegations of member countries will sum up the results of the Committee's and its subsidiary bodies' activities in 2015 and will approve its Programme of work for 2016–2017.

The experts of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 78^th Committee's session.
