On May 26-29, 2015 the 28th session of the Patent Cooperation Treaty Committee for Technical Cooperation and the 33rd session of the Working group on the revision of the International Patent Classification of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) are taking place in Geneva.
In the course of the 28th session of the Committee for Technical Cooperation participants are discussing the Advice to the Assembly of the Patent Cooperation Treaty Union on the proposed appointment of the Visegrad Patent Institute as an International Searching and Preliminary Examining Authority.
During the 33rd session of the Working group projects of revisions and definitions of the International Patent Classification related to such fields as mechanics, electricity and chemistry are being considered.
The experts of the State enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property" as well as representatives of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in both sessions.
