Оn April 29, 2014 in Geneva’s Palais Wilson the Delegation of Ukraine, headed by Mr. Vitaliy Muschynin, First Deputy Minister for Social Policy, presented before the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights its Sixth periodic report on implementation by our country of the provisions of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The Ukrainian delegation consisted of experts from the Ministries of Social Policy and Health and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva.

Detailed interactive dialogue on a wide range of matters governed by the above-mentioned international legal instrument was conducted. The Delegation of Ukraine provided comprehensive answers to numerous questions from the Committee`s members with the emphasis on efforts being made by the Government of Ukraine to ensure proper protection of economic, social and cultural rights, especially of vulnerable population, under the occupation of the part of the territory of our country.
