On February 19 Mr. Yurii Klymenko, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine met with Mr. András Dékány, Permanent Representative of Hungary to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.
During the meeting the bilateral cooperation in the framework of international organizations based in Geneva, in particular, the Human Rights Council (HRC) was discussed. In this regard, the interaction of the Parties in the advancement in the HRC of the role of prevention in the promotion and protection of human rights was considered.
Moreover, attention was paid to the internal political situation in Ukraine, the importance of its peaceful settlement, without the use of force. Y.Klymenko also outlined the state and prospects of European integration of our country.
