The UN Human Rights Council holds its 20^th Special session on the human rights situation in the Central African Republic on 20 January 2014 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The Special session of the Council was requested by the delegation of Ethiopia on behalf of the African Group, the request was supported by nearly 100 countries from all the regions of the world concerned over the grave human rights violations in the Central African Republic.

The delegation of Ukraine represented by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participates in the work of the Special session as an observer.
