The Permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Mr. M.Maimeskul held a meeting with the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) prof. K.Schwab on 14 November 2013. Main outcomes of the cooperation between Ukraine and the World Economic Forum over the last years have been discussed.

          Interlocutors expressed their mutual satisfaction of the level reached in bilateral cooperation and especially noted a success of the WEF Regional meeting "Strategic Dialogue on the Future of Ukraine", which took place in Kyiv on 5-6 November, 2013, with participation of the President of Ukraine V.Yanukovych and Prime Minister of Ukraine M.Azarov.

          It has been emphasized that the WEF Regional meeting in Kyiv became a platform for exchange of views on future ways of socio-economic development of Ukraine between governmental representatives, scientific and business elites from many countries worldwide, and allowed to demonstrate at the highest level the determination of our State to perform economic and political reforms and its devotedness to European integration course.

The Ambassador M.Maimeskul underlined that Ukraine is ready to continue active cooperation with the WEF in the future.
