The Permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador  Mr.M.Maimeskul held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United nations Conference on Trade and Development. Mr. Mukhisa Kituyi on 12 November 2013. Main outcomes of the cooperation between Ukraine and UNCTAD have been discussed during the meeting.

The Head of UNCTAD highly estimated the level of the  bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and  UNCTAD     within the framework of the Competition Policy Peer Review, taking into consideration, that  this Review contributed to the finalization of the ten-year National Program of Competition Development which was adopted by the Government of Ukraine on 21 August 2013.
