The General Council meeting devoted to the appointment of H.E.Roberto Azevedo to the post of Director-General of WTO takes place in Geneva on 9 September 2013.

Ambassador Roberto Azevêdo of Brazil started his post on the 1-st of September 2013. Director-General Azevêdo was appointed to a four-year term by the General Council on 14 May 2013.

Within the framework of the meeting, the representatives of WTO member-countries will congratulate H.E. Roberto Azevêdo with his appointment and express their vision of the perspectives of development of the multilateral trading system.

The participation of the delegation of Ukraine in the work of the session is provided by H.E. Andrii Goncharuk, the Representative of Ukraine to WTO.
