On 24th of Остober, 2012 at Palais des Nations in Geneva the Ukrainian Delegation headed by Government Agent before the European Court of human rights Nazar Kulchytskyy, presented to the UN Member States the National Report on human rights situation in our country within the framework of the second cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

Discussion over Ukraine's achievements and prospectives on human rights situation improvement with regard to ensuring promotion of fundamental human rights and freedoms proved rightness of the course chosen by our country and the priorities of the Government of Ukraine in this area. Statements of the delegations participating in the discussion demonstrated significant interest of the world community to Ukraine, in particular of the ongoing reforms in our country.

Adoption of the Report on Ukraine's second cycle of UPR is scheduled for 29th of October, 2012.
