On October 29-30, 2019, the Regional Meeting "Beijing+25" on the Implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action takes place in Geneva under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the UN-Women. Ending violence against women and girls, education for gender equality, women's representation in policy and decision-making, the linkage between the Sustainable Development Goals and the Beijing commitments are in the focus of the delegates’ attention. 

The delegation of Ukraine is an active participant of the deliberations on the above-mentioned matters, as well as in the framework of the Regional Meeting’s side-events. Among them – a thematic discussion organized by the Ukrainian Institute named “Gender Issues Through Contemporary Art”.
