On June 17-21, 2019, the 40th session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is taking place in Geneva. 

Participants of the session are discussing issues related to intellectual property, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions, including thefinancing of these activities as well as recommendations of ad hocexperts groupson these matters. The recommendations of the Committee to the WIPO General Assembly are being considered and will be adopted as well.

 The representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the State enterprise "Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute" as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the work of the Intergovernmental Committee's session.
