The thirteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal, the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade and the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants are taking place from 24 April to 5 May 2017 in Geneva.

Participants of the meetings are discussing issues of sound management of chemicals and waste, exchange of experience and information on best practices and global trends with regards to coordination, cooperation and joint activities within the mentioned conventions.

The representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the meetings.
