On April 20-21, 2017 the 12th meeting of the Steering Committee on Education for Sustainable Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva. 

Participants of the meeting  are discussing the outcomes of the Batumi High-level Meeting of Education and Environment Ministries which was held on 8 June 2016 as well as progress achieved and experience gained by UNECE country members in implementing the UNECE Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development.

The representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the work of the meeting.
