On October 24-25, 2016 the 11^th session of the Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane of the Committee on Sustainable Energy of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing the role of coal mine methane management in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and combating climate change as well as the Group of Experts' Report on implementation of the Work plan for 2016-2017 and proposals to its Work plan for 2018-2019.

The representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 11^th session of the Group of Experts.
