On October 18-21, 2016 the 74^th session of the Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

 

Participants of the session are discussing the role of forests, their goods and services, and the forest sector in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda as well as proposals on the Strategic Plan for the period 2017-2030.

The experts of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine  as well as representatives of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the work of the session.
