On September 6, 2016 the official reception on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the Independence of our country was held in the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva.

The event was attended by the leadership of international organizations located in Geneva, Geneva’s diplomatic corps as well as representatives of the international organizations’ secretariats, cantonal and municipal authorities of Geneva, the Ukrainian community in Switzerland. 

Addressing the event’s participants, Y.Klymenko, Permanent Representative of Ukraine in Geneva, in particular, drew their attention to the successful and accelerated implementation of the comprehensive structural reforms in Ukraine for building a democratic, wealthy and prosperous state, efforts aimed at the realization of its European perspective on the backdrop of significant security and economic challenges caused by the outside aggression. He admitted the steadily increasing worldwide solidarity with Ukraine in these very challenging times and expressed his gratitude to the UN Office and other international organizations located in Geneva as well as to the permanent missions for their cooperation and support.
