On June 3, 2016 Yurii Klymenko, Permanent Representative of Ukraine in Geneva, met with Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), primarily on providing further assistance to internally displaced persons, the number of which continues to increase as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation against our country. The UNHCR high officials’ visits to Ukraine during 2016 were also considered.
