On October 14 – 16, 2015 the 17th International Summit on Transnational Crime, hosted annually by the international non-governmental organization “Crans Montana Forum”, takes place in Geneva.

Representatives of public and private sectors from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and a number of international organizations, including NGOs, attend the event.

Participants of the forum are considering, among other matters, relevant issues in the areas of international security, economics and migration; sharing experience in the field of combating international crime, as well as discussing possible ways of enhancing cooperation in this area and increasing its effectiveness.

During today’s plenary session “Relations between EU and Russia. What after the Ukrainian crisis?” Y.Klymenko, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine has drawn attention of the international community, in particular, to the irrevocability of the European choice of the Ukrainian people, Russia’s actions aimed at undermining the realization of our country’s European aspirations, as well as to the need for Russia to stop its hybrid war against Ukraine and start strictly fulfilling its obligations under the Minsk agreements. Permanent Representative of Ukraine also emphasized on the implementation of comprehensive reforms in our country, streamlined to the European integration’s objective.
