On September 7-9, 2015 the 28th session of the Working Party on Transport Trends and Economics of the Inland Transport Committee of the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.
Participants of the session are discussing a broad range of issues related to changes in pan-European transport networks, trends and challenges in the road, rail and inland waterways sectors.
During the first day of the session the Workshop on "Road and Rail transport corridors along Europe and Asia" took place, in which Ms.O.Reiter, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine for European Integration participated. She pointed out an important role of transport corridors for the development of external economic potential of our country, outlined main directions of structural reforms being conducted in Ukraine in the transport area, despite ruinous impact on it of aggressive actions of the Russian Federation on the southeast of our state.
The representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 28th session of the Working Party.
