On September 1-3, 2015 the 9^th session of the Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships of the  Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

During the session's High-level substantive segment on the theme "Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships – their essential role in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" both their role in the SDGs and the Committee’s future role in adapting its existing activities and tools to make them in conformity with the SDGs, that will determine further directions of development in the UNECE region until 2030, are being discussed.

Delegations of member countries will sum up the results of the Committee's work in 2014 and will approve its work programme for 2016-2017.

The representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as well as from the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the annual session of the Committee.
