Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights shall contribute to efforts in facilitating the release of Nadiya Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov and other Ukrainian citizens who were abducted in Ukraine and illegally detained in Russia.

This was underlined in a statement of the delegation of Ukraine during continuing 28^th session of the UN Human Rights Council. The attention of the UN human rights mechanisms and delegations was also drawn to unacceptable actions of the Russian law-enforcement officials towards Ukrainians, including practice of physical intimidation and psychological pressure, which have become systemic and therefore compelled the MFA of Ukraine to issue a warning notice for the Ukrainians travelling to Russia.
