On October 21-23, 2014 the Workshop on forest reporting in the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) region and the Second meeting of the UNECE/FAO Team of Specialists on monitoring sustainable forest management are taking place in Geneva.

 Participants of the meetings are discussing main problems of forest sector, сriteria of possible national reporting on forest ownership as well as parameters of the achievements of the four global objectives on forests in the UNECE region with a view to present them at the 11^th session of the UN Forest Forum to be held in May 2015.

The experts of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine  as well as representatives of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the meetings.
