On August 27-29, 2014 the Conference on health and climate is taking place at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland). The delegation of Ukraine headed by O.Musii, Minister of Health is participating in the event (O.Nastasenko, Deputy Minister - Chief of Staff of the Ministry of ecology and natural recourses as well as Y.Klymenko, Permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva are among its members).

The Conference is the first global meeting on the subject, convening ministers, health practitioners and experts in the relevant spheres. Its aim is to inform and empower health and sustainable development communities.

O.Musii, Minister of Health of Ukraine took the floor on the first day of the forum, during the high level panel discussion "Linking international climate, sustainable development and health policy". In his speech he has, in particular, drawn attention to the challenges facing our state in the spheres of health and environment protection due to the Russian occupation of the Crimean peninsula and its subversive activities in the South East of our state.
