On March 27, 2014 the exhibition dedicated to 200-th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth was inaugurated at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.  The event was attended by the leadership of the UN Office at Geneva, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic corps and the Ukrainian community.

The Permanent Representative of Ukraine Y.Klymenko in his address on this occasion has drawn the audience's attention to the multifaceted genius of the Great Poet, his contribution to the establishment of the Ukrainian state, as well as to the relevance of the ideas of the Great son of the Ukrainian people.

The participants were able to discover the life and creative development of Taras Shevchenko, realize all the greatness of his talent.

The exhibition will continue its work until April 11, 2014.
