On March 12, 2014 Mr. Yurii Klymenko, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine met with Mrs. Jan Beagle, Deputy Executive Director of the Joined United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

Current issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the UNAIDS were considered in the context of its membership, starting from 2014, in the Coordinating Board - executive body of the Programme.

Y.Klymenko has assured that Ukraine is committed to the fight against HIV/AIDS and will further take dedicated measures to enhance effectiveness of the activities in that area.

Jan Beagle, in turn, has expressed readiness of the UNAIDS to deepen cooperation with Ukraine as well as to provide our state on the part of the Programme's Secretariat with maximum support in its endeavors as a member of its Coordinating Board.
