On February 10 Mr. Yurii Klymenko, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine met with Mr. Guy Ryder, the Director-General of the International Labour Office.

Current issues of activity of the International Labour Organization (ILO), including ensuring the universalization and the implementation of the ILO conventions, were discussed.

Emphasis was given to the state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the ILO, in particular in the framework of the Decent Work Country Programme for 2012-2015. In this context Y.Klymenko drew attention to the International Forum on Employment, scheduled to be held in May 2014 in Kyiv, and requested G.Ryder to ensure an appropriate level of ILO representation at this event.
