On February 4-7, 2014  the 136^th session of the Working Party on Customs Questions affecting Transport of the Inland Transport Committee of the  Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.

            During the today's Working Party meeting the representative from Ukraine Mr. O.Fedorov, Head of International Programmes and Projects, the Consulting Company "ALLEGO" has been re-elected as its Chair for the year 2014.

            Participants of the session are discussing the today's status of various international legal instruments, including the International Convention on the Harmonization of Frontier Controls of Goods, 1982 and the Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR Carnets (TIR Convention, 1975) as well as proposals concerning amendments to them.

The representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Parliament of Ukraine, the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine  as well as from the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN Office in Geneva participate in the 136^th session of the Working Party.
