The sixty-first plenary session of the Conference of European statisticians of the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) started its work on 10 Junel, 2013 in Geneva.
The main topics proposed for consideration to the participants of this year’ session will be two issues: “Challenges in measuring sustainable development and in implementing the system of environmental-economic accounting in follow-up to RIO+20”, and “Challenges in providing access to micro-data for research purposes”. Moreover, at the end of the Conference there will be the election of the Bureau of the Conference of European statisticians – governing body of the Conference.
The delegation of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine headed by its Chairman Mr. O.Osaulenko and experts of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN Office in Geneva participate in the 61st plenary session.
