The 2013 World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), which under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union annually takes place in Geneva for all-inclusive – with participation of governments, international organizations, civil society and leading ICT-companies – consideration of steps aimed at proper accomplishment of the WSIS decisions is being held on 13-17 May 2013.
This year's Forum, attended by nearly 2000 delegates from all over the world, is keen on finding effective strategies and mechanisms for using ICT’s capacity to accelerate progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals identified by the international community for 2015.
The delegation from the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization of Ukraine, State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine along with Permanent Mission’s staff takes part in the Forum.
