Standing Committee on the Law of Patents of the World Intellectual Property Organization holds its 19^th Session from 25 through 28 February.

         During the meeting participants intend to adopt the draft report on the Committee’s 18^th Session, review the report on the international patent system, discuss issues of exceptions and limitations to patent rights, quality of patents, administrative revocation and invalidation mechanisms, patents and health, transfer of technology, etc.

         Simultaneously, 3^rd International Patent Classification Workshop and 45^th Session of the Committee of Experts of the Special Union for the International Patent Classification are underway.

         Ukrainian part is represented at the aforesaid events by experts of the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine, State Enterprise “Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property” and Permanent Mission in Geneva.
