On June 24-27, 2019, the 30th session of the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing the Report on the international patent system: certain aspects of national/regional patent laws, exceptions and limitations to patent rights and the quality of patents, including opposition systems, as well as sharing of experiences on negotiating licensing agreements in the field of health.

The representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the State enterprise "Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute" as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the work of the session.
