On March 18-22, 2019, the 39th session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing issues related to intellectual property, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions, including the financing of these activities as well as recommendations of ad hoc experts groups on these matters. The Report of the previous Committee’s session will be considered and adopted as well.

The representatives of the State enterprise "Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute" as well as of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the work of the Intergovernmental Committee's session.
