On October 10-11, 2017 the Inaugural Meeting of the Global HIV Prevention Coalition is taking place in Geneva, involving ministers from a number of UN Member States, Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) M.Sidibe, Executive Director of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) N.Kanem, representatives of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Children's Investment Funds Foundation, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, civil society and non-governmental organizations etc.

Acting Minister of Health of Ukraine U.Suprun in her speech emphasized on the commitment of our state to the implementation of the Plan for Accelerating HIV Prevention at Country Level, as well as the existing potential to institutionalize into the state governance system the HIV Prevention Programme among key populations.

In the framework of the meeting it is planned, in particular, to adopt a corresponding Roadmap with concrete steps of disease prevention by 2020.
