On September 21, 2017, in the framework of the 36^th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), a side-event "Ukraine United by Values", organized by the Ukrainian non-governmental organization "Vilni" with the support of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations Office in Geneva and the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland, took place.

The international audience was informed about the important positive changes in our country as a result of the Revolution of Dignity, its commitment to democratic values, the protection of human rights, the rule of law, and the conduct of internal driving transformations, in particular, the realization of constitutional, judicial, anti-corruption reforms etc. in the difficult conditions of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as the activity and role of the public society in these processes.

The event has aroused lively interest of the delegations of HRC Member States and observers, as well as the media accredited in Geneva.
