On May 15-25, 2017 the session of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council is taking place in Geneva.

Participants of the session are discussing various aspects of strengthening international cooperation concerning new telecommunication technologies and enhancing access to Internet globally, particularly, in the developing countries. Besides, participants of the session are considering draft ITU 2018-2019 budget as well as ITU’s strategic and financial plans for 2020-2023.

The representatives of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine and of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the session.
