On 14 February 2017 in the Palais des Nations (Geneva) the delegation of Ukraine headed by Mrs. Nataliia Fedorovych, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, presented during the 66th session of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women the 8th periodic report on the implementation by our State of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (webcast - http://webtv.un.org/).

In the presentation by the Head of the Delegation and in the delegation`s answers to the numerous questions by the Committee`s members a wide range of issues covered by the said Convention was addressed, including those related to discrimination and violation of women's rights in the context of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Deputy Prosecutor General as well as representatives of Ministries of education and science, social policy, Armed Forces of Ukraine, Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva and Ukrainian NGOs took part in the event.
