On September 17, 2015 the official reception on the occasion of the 24^th anniversary of the Independence of our country was held in the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva.

The event was attended by leadership of numerous international organizations located in Geneva, Geneva’s diplomatic corps, cantonal authorities of Geneva, the Ukrainian community in Switzerland. 

Addressing the guests of the event, Y.Klymenko, Permanent Representative of Ukraine drew their attention to the current challenges our country is facing with. He thanked the international community for its solidarity in this uneasy time for Ukraine and expressed hope for further support of the Ukrainian side's endeavors aimed at defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity, implementing comprehensive reforms for building a democratic, prosperous and successful state, as well as embodying the European perspective for Ukraine.
