In the framework of the session statements were delivered by the delegation of Ukraine during interactive dialogues with Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief; Special Representatives of the UN Secretary-General on Violence against Children and on Children and Armed Conflict.

The attention of the UN human rights mechanisms and delegations was drawn to relevant human rights violations resulted from the illegal occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine inflamed and supported by the Russian Federation.
