President Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. The parties have discussed the situation in Donbas and the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements as the main precondition for the peaceful settlement.

The President has informed the Prime Minister on the escalation of the situation in Donbas and the aggression of Russia.

He has also expressed hope that a constructive dialogue would be achieved at the today's meeting of Foreign Ministers in the Normandy format.

Mark Rutte has assured Ukraine of his support and called for the unity of the EU in this issue.

The interlocutors have also negotiated the economic situation in Ukraine and the possibility of increasing the macro-financial assistance from the EU.
