On November 24 - 26, 2014 the 68th session of the Working Party on Rail Transport of the Inland Transport Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is taking place in Geneva.
Participants of the session are discussing issues related to security, financing and increasing railways competitiveness, as well as actual status of various international agreements in the railways field, including the European Agreement on Main International Railway Lines, a draft of a new Convention on the Facilitation of Crossing of Frontiers for Passengers and Baggage Carried by Rail and the Trans-European Railway project.
The experts of the State Railways Administration of Ukraine and representatives of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 68th session of the Working Party.
