On September 22 - 30, 2014 the 54^th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Members States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) take place in Geneva.

          Participants of the meetings of the Assemblies are discussing the reports on work of the WIPO main committees and subsidiary bodies as well as issues of further development of international normative and legal basis in the area of intellectual property rights protection, including the issue of the Convening of a Diplomatic Conference for the Adoption of a Design Law Treaty.

          On September 23 within the framework of the participation of the Ukrainian delegation headed by Mr. M.Kovinya, Chairperson of the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine, the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine and the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia was signed, which determines main directions of cooperation between the two agencies for the five-year perspective.

The experts from the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine as well as representatives from the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in Geneva participate in the 54^th Series of Meetings of the WIPO Assemblies.
