Meeting of the Open-ended Working Group to identify actions, activities and behaviors that result in substandard/spurious/falsely-labelled/falsified/counterfeit medical products (SSFFC) is held in Geneva from 23 to 25 July 2013 at the Headquarters of the World Health Organization.

         Decision to establish the Working Group was taken at the First Meeting of the WHO Member State mechanism on SSFFC held in Buenos Aires last November.

         It is attended by representatives of the WHO Member States - experts in public health and regulation of medical products. The delegation of Ukraine is headed by the First Deputy Head of the State Administration of Ukraine in Medicinal Products Inna Demchenko.

         The information on the experience of the national regulatory authority of Ukraine in fighting the spread of counterfeit medical products was presented during the meeting.
