The 22^nd session of the UN Human Rights Council unanimously approved the report of the Working Group on the 2^nd cycle of Universal Periodic Review of Ukraine at Palais des Nations in Geneva on March 14, 2013.

The Head of Delegation of Ukraine, the Government Agent before the European Court of Human Rights Mr. Nazar Kulchytskyy presented to the UN Member States’ delegations position of Ukraine regarding recommendations received during the UPR, and informed participants about plans of the Government of Ukraine aiming at further improvement of the human rights situation, as well as on the implementation of apt reforms carried out in our country.

Statements by the delegations heard at the meeting displayed positive assessment of the efforts undertaken by the Government of Ukraine, and support for the priorities chosen in the human rights sphere.
